My idea is pretty straight forward. People do not like bringing their vehicle in
for service and at the same time they have no choice, it has to be done. I firmly believe that a customer will pay a
little extra for the convenience of not having to actually go to the
facility. We will come to pick your
vehicle, leave a loaner for you, have you sign the repair order, take your
vehicle to have the service completed, bring your vehicle back to you, take
payment, and of course thank you for your business. Now your vehicle is serviced and your life
was not interrupted. The feedback I am
receiving has been very positive and everyone seems to agree that it is a
service they would be interested in. I
had one comment stating they are not sure if people would pay extra to have
someone pick up there vehicle and I understand that position but if people did
not want to pay more for convenience then businesses like valet service would
never work. My idea did not change
really from my first pitch, but I am still trying to figure out the price
point, logistics, and liability issues.

I think that a service like this would really help people out, especially those that do work 40 hours a week and have no time or stay-at-home moms/dads that can't always make it in. I think my only concern would be with the person who drove my vehicle for this service. You said you're still figuring out logistics about liability so I totally understand. Maybe your employees could pass special driving tests? I think that could really alleviate customer concerns. My only suggestion for your pitch is to maybe next time prop the camera on a table/desk so that you can walk around while you deliver your pitch.

While some people might not be willing to pay extra for a service like this (especially on top of already having to pay for the service done on their car) I'm sure there would be tons of people who would. While this idea may not be geared towards college students, I think it would be great for older adults with families and hectic lives. I love how creative and well thought out your opportunity is. I agree a lot of people do not want to have to deal with going out of their way to bring their car to get service. It is just something that is tedious. I appreciate how you would leave a loaner car as well so they can go about their daily routine without concerns.
