Elevator Pitch No. 3

The most concerning feedback from my previous pitch was about being nervous having someone drive a customer’s vehicle.  My drivers and my company will be fully insured and have coverage for accidents.  We will do a walk around with the customer and mark any damage at pickup and delivery therefore the customer knows that their vehicle is and will always be well take care of.  Another concern I got was that overly useful for college students.  I disagree.  This service is going to be designed for anyone who has a busy life and does need 2-3 hours or sometimes more cut out of their day.  I am sure that most college students like me work 50-60 hours per week plus have a full slate of classes.  I know that a spare 2 or hours of day is very important and if it can be saved for a small fee that would be outstanding.  I did not really change much just made it clearer that the drivers will be insured and licensed to drive their vehicle t point where the customer feels safe.

  1. Hi William! Your idea is really unique and your theory of people not wanting to bring in their car for service, although they have no other choice to, is one of the main reasons why your service and company would excel. For this pitch, I really wished you started off with something else than putting your idea straight forward. Takes away from the audience's imagination. But other than that, people would definitely contribute to this. Would your company be a service repair shop, or just a service FOR repair shops? You should check out my blog when you have the chance, its different from your service! http://kmglickman.blogspot.com/2016/03/elevator-pitch-no-3.html

  2. Hello William,

My family is in the automotive business and I know what it is like having to wait in a hot garage for your car to be serviced. I think your idea is great It is extremely convenient to have a pickup and delivery service for car servicing. Some things to consider would be insurance for transportation of the vehicles back and forth and maybe even developing an app or website which allows the customer to track the progress of their vehicle. Your pitch was great and well spoken.
