I agree that in today’s world corporate entrepreneurship is
becoming overwhelmingly needed. I know
from experience and have seen firsthand how the advancements in technology and internet
have changed the car business and if the company change and try to keep up they
do fall so far behind that eventually they have to close their doors. One thing that I would ask is, is it better
to try and find someone from within your company for new ideas or is hiring an
outside company to come in and consult a better option? As a company tries to evolve with the times
and uses corporate entrepreneurship, how does an employer keep their staff
motivated and all working towards the same goal? While I do think that looking out for the
environment is important, I do not think that it needs to be a top priority for
all companies. I would not consider
these chapters confusing so much as needing to understand what is now required
to advance and move forward in the world today.
While moving forward and progressing is needed, I feel that understanding
what strategies to use and move forward with are very difficult decisions and
making the wrong choice has greater effects on company than it did in the past.
